West Seattle Engagement Session | Francesca and Miguel

When Francesca and Miguel reached out to me, they had only been engaged for 3 days. They had that fresh engagement glow that I wish I could bottle up and keep for all my couples forever and ever.

I gave them some options on where we could have our engagement shoot (aka when I get to be third wheel on my favorite date ever), and they decided that West Seattle would give them the variety they were looking for: forest, beachy vibes and cityscapes.

We started the afternoon at Lincoln Park, where the sun was filtering through the trees in the most romantic of ways, then we scuttled over to Lowman Park for some pre-sunset golden glow photos. We ended the afternoon off in Alki, while the sun was setting over the Seattle skyline.

I brought these two some champagne to pop in the end of our session and they had an absolute blast popping the bubbly. We even got some cheers from passersby and that gave everyone all the warm and fuzzies.

As I was editing these, I was reminded of what it felt to be around Francesca and Miguel. He was so attentive to her and she was so sweet with him. They were so in love, so deeply enamored with each other and so easy to be around. I just felt so lucky to be the one they chose to witness this time in their lives.
