Pioneer Square Mini Session | Kimjoy & Dimitri

Well, it’s no surprise that I love this location in Pioneer Square and any opportunity I have to be here, I take it. Kimjoy and Dimitri are such a delight. They are both insanely good looking, and so easy to shoot. They would have these quiet moments to themselves where they’d both start cracking up and moments later, they’d be hugging and be so naturally into each other. It’s not often that you meet couples that are affectionate and comfortable with a camera in their face, all at once.

Orange County Lifestyle Session | Magnolia Wellness OC

There’s something insanely magical about everything Magnolia Wellness touches. This space not only offers services rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, but there’s a big, open space where events are held a few times a week and community is built. Angela, the founder and lead acupuncturist, is a floating angel of a woman and holds a wealth of knowledge. She’s smart, magnetic and instantly calming.

Ballard Mini Session | Alex & Rich

I love, love, love downtown Ballard. It’s romantic, nostalgic, and one of my ideal backdrops for photos in Seattle. This duo met me for cocktails in Percy and Co (because I’m a sucker for a pisco sour) and we each had a beverage while I snapped some shots inside. Afterwards, we stopped into Salt & Straw and perched down into the sweetest storefront nook, that had twinkle lights strung and a staircase. It was pretty meant to be.

West Seattle Mini Session | Taylor & Buck

This might come as a shock to you but the weather in Seattle is quite wet for like, most of the year. Surprising, right? Instead of trucking my equipment into the elements, and asking my couples to do the same, I decided to set up a studio inside my house, with a backdrop and lighting, to give me tons of options for shoots when the weather takes a turn. (If you’re a photographer reading this and it’s your jam to get in the rain and make it work, props to you. You are badass.)

South Park Hall Kids NYE Party

Every New Years Eve, Corina throws a kids party that is every parents dream come true. It’s short (7-9pm), full of popcorn, dancing, and balloons. There’s plenty of space for the littles to get their wiggles out and there’s also a bar for mom and dad to indulge in. It’s a win-win for everyone involved and I was so happy to be a part of the fun!

Lincoln Park Mini Session | Margit and Andrew

After 15 years in the Pacific Northwest, these two kind souls and their pup are headed to Northern California. I’m so glad I was able to catch them before their big move south. I wanted to do this session somewhere meaningful to them and Lincoln Park fit the bill.
